It's time to nominate your favorite green heros for the 8th annual Green Source DFW Sustainable Leadership Awards. See nomination form here!
The popular annual green awards gala, hosted by Green Source DFW and its parent nonprofit the Memnosyne Institute, was launched in 2012.
This year’s event will be held in Nov. 14 at the Dallas Arboretum.
The top finalists for the awards are determined by Green Source DFW readers during a public voting period in September.
The winners will then be selected by a panel of judges from the North Texas green community.
Previous winners include radio host, author and organic gardening pioneer Howard Garrett, Half-Price Books CEO Sharon Anderson and former Dallas Morning News reporter Randy Loftis. See all previous winners here.

• Environmental Science and Innovation. New products, business models or ideas benefiting the environment.
• Conservation Activist. Preserving resources, wildlife, green space.
• Green Project or Program. Profit or Nonprofit
• Coke Buchanan Volunteer of the Year. Outstanding volunteer service to a green cause or organization.
Other specialty awards will also be given during the ceremony.
