Come out to the Gardens and enjoy some classical fun with performances by Fine Arts Chamber Players! All feature performances are presented by musicians from the Dallas and Fort Worth Symphony Orchestras, The Dallas Opera Orchestra, area university faculties and professional freelance musicians. 

Concert admission is free, and attendees receive a $2 discount on butterfly house admission.

Rising Star Recital: Clarinetist Steven Tsai, an award winner in the Juanita Miller Concerto Competition and the Dallas Symphonic Festival, performs music of Mozart and von Weber with pianist Julie Chung. 

Feature Performance: Baritone David Grogan, Assistant Professor of Voice at the University of Texas at
Arlington, presents Beethoven's song cycle An die ferne Geliebte with pianist Mark Metcalf.  Beethoven folksongs for voice, piano, violin and cello and a string trio will complete the All-Beethoven program. 
 
Since 1981, Fine Arts Chamber Players (FACP) has presented the Basically Beethoven Festival, a series of FREE recitals and classical chamber music concerts that take place every Sunday afternoon at a local Dallas Cultural Center. The concerts annually feature over fifty outstanding musicians drawn from the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, The Dallas Opera Orchestra and area university faculties, playing to full-capacity audiences. TheRising Star Youth Recitals precede the feature performances and showcase young talented musicians. FACP provides a venue for these gifted young artists as they pursue careers in music to perform before a wider audience.
