A one-day tour of private urban chicken coops in East Dallas, featuring some of the most innovative coops for raising chickens in North Texas, and experts to answer all of your questions about urban chickens. The family-friendly event also features a Country Market with local artisan and food vendors, community information booths, live entertainment, food trucks and other activities. $10. Join LLELA’s guides for a fascinating evening as you trek to LLELA’s prairie restoration area to view the wonders of the night sky. Constellations both familiar and unusual, satellites, and sometimes planets and the moon are features of the ever-changing night sky. If the sky is cloudy, we will substitute a night hike. After a two-month winter break, the regular monthly star parties in association with Fort Worth Astronomical Society will restart on March 11. Stargazers, skywatchers, astronomers, kids, grownups, singles, couples, groups, all ages welcome. No dogs, please. Free.
