Tour eight private-home gardens, farms and area wineries, as well as the new Garden of Oz educational facility. Advance tickets are $20, and are available online at www.celinagardenclub.org for pickup on the day of the event in Celina’s historic downtown square, near Walnut and Ohio Streets.

Learn about the role of water in the recycling process and make your own recycled paper with native wildflower seeds mixed into the pulp. You can use your paper or plant it for a bit of spring color. $5 (with paid admission).

A one-day tour of private urban chicken coops in East Dallas, featuring some of the most innovative coops for raising chickens in North Texas, and experts to answer all of your questions about urban chickens. The family-friendly event also features a Country Market with local artisan and food vendors, community information booths, live entertainment, food trucks and other activities. $10. Tickets can be purchased online or at Moss Haven Farm.

 

Join LLELA’s guides for a fascinating evening as you trek to LLELA’s prairie restoration area to view the wonders of the night sky. Constellations both familiar and unusual, satellites, and sometimes planets and the moon are features of the ever-changing night sky. If the sky is cloudy, we will substitute a night hike. Ages 5 and up. $10. Registration is required by 11a.m. Friday, March 24, at bit.ly/CoLRegistration. Search for activity code 800001.
