Wildlife management, issues, support, and rehabilitation

While gardening, cleaning or enjoying a summer’s day, reptiles can often
be observed in our backyards. Join us as we discuss what common
reptiles might be visiting your backyard, what their diet consists of
and unique behaviors they may exhibit. FREE (with paid admission). Two Sessions: 1 & 2 p.m.

Join our experienced Nature Center volunteer photographer Dave Morgan as he teaches you how to get that picture perfect photo. He will be discussing equipment, lighting and other aspects of photography. You will be amazed at his talent and will learn how to be better photographers. It's a bug safari as we hunt for hungry caterpillars throughout our gardens. Appropriate for ages 3+. Included with admission ($8/adults, $6/seniors 60+, and $4/children 3-11). Pay at door.

On November 19th, 2011, participants will hike 28.3 miles of the Lone Star Trail while you help raise money towards finding a cure for children's cancer, the #1 cause of death by disease in children.

    About the Trail

    Hi! I am Holly Torres with CureSearch for Children's Cancer. We are doing
    an Ultimate Hike event on November 19, 2011. This hike will be the
    ultimate challenge - 28.3 miles in one day on the Lone Star Trail - all with the goal to raise funds for children's cancer research. We will also offer a 11 mile option.
