Three-day workshop hosted by the city of Fort Worth Nov. 1-3. Participants receive a compost bin and the Rodale Book of Composting. All three days required to receive the bin. Cost is $30 for residents; $45 for nonresidents. Pre-registration required. Register online.

Hosted by the Molly Hollar Wildscape. The sale features a large variety of plant species grown at the greenhouse by Wildscape volunteers, including: ground covers, perennials, shrubs, vines and trees. Many species of grasses are provided by Blue Stem Nursery. These plants are mostly from local seeds and cuttings. These plants are better adapted to our local climate and rainfall.

Learn about types of drip irrigation and the basics of how to install it at this free class. Registration of 8 people is required in order to hold the class.
