Jan Peck and David Davis thought it was time to update Mother Goose for a more eco-friendly generation.

​In June, Texas joined California, Oregon, Washington, Hawaii and other states in banning the shark fin trade.

Hiking and enjoying the outdoors should not be a bloodletting affair.

Last week, Pope Francis delivered a blunt message to the world regarding the environment in a 184-page encyclical, entitled "Laudato Si," an Italian phrase meaning "Praised Be To You" taken from a song penned by St. Francis, the patron saint of ecology.

Green Source DFW Sustainable Leadership Award finalist Kenneth Winn wears a black hat but he's one of Pleasant Grove's good guys. For nearly a decade, the 71-year-old has been picking up trash and discouraging litterbugs in his southeast Dallas neighborhood – all on his own initiative.
