The Village Park Eco Home is a net zero-energy ready house demonstrating how to build a high-performance, energy efficient, healthy home using building science. Sustainable and recycled materials are included resulting in minimal impact on the environment. The house is a certified DOE Challenge Home, Energy Star Home and Green Built Texas Home.
Tours are being held on the weekends through May 11, 11am-4pm, Sat and noon-5pm, Sun.
A shuttle bus will pick you up, take you to the house and return you to your car. Parking is available in The Marketplace at Highland Village shopping center.
