Jan Hodson is the presenter.

This time Jan will reveal to us the mysteries of the hive. We will look at the lives of one of our greatest pollinators. It is busy in a bee hive and everyone has a job to do. You will get to see some of the tools and equipment a beekeeper uses to take care of some of the smallest livestock in the world.

Jan has been a Master Naturalist since 2002 delivering over 6000 service hours to date, was an active Master Gardener for 10 years, and a Park Interpreter at Ray Roberts State Park for 2 years. She took up beekeeping in 2015 and helped found both the Denton County Beekeepers Association and the Elm Fork Beekeepers Association in Gainesville, which focus on education and mentoring.
