BRIT is proud to host the landmark exhibition, Botanical Art Worldwide: America’s Flora, as part of a worldwide project organized by the American Society of Botanical Artists. America’s Flora features original works by contemporary American artists portraying plants native to the United States and is one of many national exhibitions launched simultaneously in 25 countries on six continents.

Join us for a gallery talk and public reception with the American Society of Botanical Art Director of Exhibitions, Carol Woodin. This is a wonderful opportunity to hear the exhibition's curator and take in the best of contemporary American botanical art. A complimentary dessert and coffee reception will follow.

his talk details how 25 countries joined together to highlight their own native plants through botanical artworks created specifically for this project. Learn the back stories of some of the countries’ projects, the artworks and the wild plant species depicted. We’ll take a closer look at some of the U.S. native plants included in "America’s Flora.”

The exhibit will be up until Nov. 27.
