ACTION ALERT! Waco Friends of Peace/Climate: Sustainability Board Renewables Vote - Waco

• Assemble at City Hall, 3rd floor, outside conference room. 

• February 7, Thursday, 3:45pm, session at 4:00pm. 

• We anticipate a second vote on our resolution calling for rapid transition to 100% renewable energy for Waco. 

• The January Board meeting was an OUTRAGE: we need EVERYONE back to demonstrate that this issue is #1, human civilization is at stake, we will persevere, & the people’s voice must be heard! 

• Plz wear FOP/C T-shirt or other light green shirt. 

• We are working behind the scenes since Jan. 17 to change the outcome. 

• The IPCC Oct. 2018 Special Report states we must slash emissions 45% by 2030!  We can’t wait for an election—grassroots action urgent NOW. 

• Invite friends & neighbors who want a livable climate & biosphere.
