FAIR PARK
FREE ADMISSION

Earth Day Dallas features two days of engaging exhibits, compelling speakers, music, entertainment, food and fun for everyone. Join us April 21-22, 2012 in Fair Park to see how you can make a difference.
Mission:  Learn. Grow.

Celebrate Earth Day at this fun festival with exhibits, speakers, films, music, food & more focused on making a positive impact on our environment.

The heart of the festival is the Eco Expo, and exhibitors will use their presence to promote their achievements as green leaders, and teach attendees how to take environmentally responsible action by better utilizing available resources, switching to eco-friendly products, or joining their organizations.

In addition to the Eco Expo, attendees will have a number of educational entertainment options, which will include:

World's largest eco-expo featuring green nonprofits, businesses and schools. Demos, speakers, live music, food, children's activities and films. Free.

The annual Green Source DFW Sustainable Leadership Awards honors North Texas' green businesses, professionals, organizations, nonprofits and volunteers.

This year's honorary speaker is Lee Stetson as John Muir.

Bring your business cards, a friend and some wine or a treat to share: it's Women in the Environment's annual Chocolate and Wine networking event!

Enjoy the tasty nibbles and drinks and get to know other members and share your business or interests.

All are welcome and we ask that you let us know whether you are bringing a bottle of wine and/or a dish to share here: www.SignUpGenius.com/go/20F094FAFAB29A13-wes2

Vote for your favorite green volunteers and leaders in North Texas. The top three finalists will be judged by a panel. Winners will be announced at the Green Source DFW Sustainable Leadership Awards on Nov. 3 at the Dallas Arboretum.

The Memnosyne Institute's Green Source DFW Sustainable Leadership Awards was launched in 2012 and has since honored many outstanding green leaders in North Texas.

Family friendly event with a focus on its ecofriendly exhibitors and education. More than forty vendors will showcase their green products and services. Classes and demonstrations on environmental awareness will take place throughout the day. Ecofest Arlington will also have many children's activities including games, crafts and educational presentations. The city will be giving away trees while supplies last. Free.

World's largest eco-fest featuring hundreds of green organizations and businesses, speakers, films, food and kid's activities. Free.

Join Women in the Environment for its annual Networking Breakfast. Members will have an opportunity to share their story, product, business cards and passion for the environment with other like-minded women (and men).  Non-members are invited, too, but only members will have the opportunity to share their information.
