Meet at the tent in the front of the market at 8:45 am, stopping to buy a breakfast muffin if you like. About 9:15 or so, John will speak to us about CSAs in general, how he became a farmer, and his CSA in

particular.

needle skills class
on basic crochet which is followed by an optional lunch at
Healthy Me Art Cafe in Coppell to visit with fellow students and learn more
about the ecovillage forming just east of Dallas.

Class Description

We will learn to construct a beautiful, natural, earth friendly,
energy efficient home! Foundation, walls, windows, framing, and roof
construction will be taught. Natural plasters will also be covered as
well as poured adobe floors.

Costs: $250 for this 5-day Workshop. (Mail in payment by April 15th for a $25 discount.)

This includes breakfast & supper on the work days, camping fee, and all instruction needed to build a Straw Bale Structure.

Daily rate if you can't make the whole workshop is $60/day, which includes breakfast and supper.

Length of Time:  Workshop will last 5 days.  Depending on distance traveled 4-6 nights.
