Food Day seeks to bring together Americans from all walks of
life—parents, teachers, and students; health professionals, community
organizers, and local officials; chefs, school lunch providers, and
eaters of all stripes—to push for healthy, affordable food produced in a sustainable, humane way.

Join a growing trend and learn how to create a bountiful organic
community or backyard vegetable garden with our Director of
Horticulture, Randy Johnson. We cover hands on fall gardening topics in
this class. Minimum of 10 participants required to make. Advance

Meet other singles interested in environmental awareness and activism.

This family-friendly fall festival features starlight stroll,
storytelling, karaoke, pumpkin patch, bounce houses and a variety of
children's games, crafts and activities. All proceeds benefit the
environmental education programs of River Legacy Living Science Center.

The world’s love affair with tea is universal
and exists in almost all corners of the world.  Join Randy and Sue
Weston, owners of Weston Gardens and tea enthusiasts, as they take you
on a tour around the globe and share the history and legend of this
influential commodity. Learn all about the tea plant, the different
processing methods, the difference between herbal and pure tea as well
as how to make the perfect cup.  Lastly, enjoy tasting different types
of tea from around the world and discover why it appeals to all of your
senses.

This year, in honor of the Museum of Nature & Science's expansion into Victory Park, proceeds from Dinner in the Wild
will go to support the Expansion Project Capital Campaign. In
celebration, the event will be called Night at the Museum and will
preview features of the new Perot Museum of Nature & Science
currently taking shape before our very eyes at the corner of Woodall
Rodgers Freeway and Field Street – the building that The Dallas Morning
News called "the boldest piece of modern architecture to hit Dallas."
