Learn about the owls found in North Texas! Great kids activities! Raptor program at 10 a.m. followed by a guided hike through a Blackland Prairie. Fun for all ages. $5 adults, $3 for kids 3-12, under 3 is free.

Learn about creatures of the night (moths/owls) at this family-friendly event. We will attract and identify moths, investigate owl pellets and offer nature crafts and games. Our nature store will be open for shopping. Free for members, $5 for non-members, ages 2+.

Family friendly holiday event featuring holiday lights and decor on the half-mile nature trail. Live music, photos with Father Christmas and Mother Nature in a festive setting. Hot beverages and treats will be available for purchase.

Tickets at the door are $5-$9. (Children 2 and under are free.) Save $2 per ticket by purchasing tickets online from Nov. 3 through Dec. 13. The public is also welcome to purchase event tickets as gifts.

Join GROW, the Botanical Research Institute of Texas, the Fort Worth Botanic Garden, and the Down Syndrome Partnership of North Texas for a free event where families will explore the Backyard Veggie Garden and all of its fall features. Participate in activities and games, get messy while dissecting pumpkins and planting seeds, and listen to Story Time with Carlos and Bella. This day will be full of inspiring and engaging activities led by GROW educators and a special activity for the DSPNT families and friends is all a part of the fun.

 

Guests can enjoy strolling through the nationally acclaimed Pumpkin Village and surrounding displays featuring 90,000 pumpkins, gourds and squash and breathtaking fall color throughout the 66-acre garden. Themed "The Adventures in Neverland," the Pumpkin Village takes guests on a journey through Neverland in the Pecan Grove. 

Guests can enjoy trick-or-treating throughout the garden, live music, face painting from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and live appearances from "The Adventures in Neverland" characters all weekend long.

This is a free program encouraging creative play outside without screens or cords. This is a time for children and their parents to use their imaginations. Families can build a fort out of bamboo, make a tree cookie bridge, create a bamboo car, and so much more. All play items will be provided.

A new season of monthly star parties in association with Fort Worth Astronomical Society is in full swing. Stargazers, skywatchers, astronomers, kids, grownups, singles, couples, groups, all ages welcome. No dogs, please. Free.
