Bird and nature walks, tree and plant identification, and more

Bring your binoculars and field guides if you have them, and learn what to watch for in habits, characteristics and calls from Gailon and Rodney, both with Prairie and Timbers Audubon Society. You can expect about 30+ species. The walk is planned to take about three hours. All ages are welcome. We recommend wearing long pants, closed-toed shoes, sunscreen, and insect repellent.

Open House at the Meadow - join us anytime this afternoon to wander (and wonder) at the Meadow by hiking the trails, watching the flora and fauna and enjoying being somewhere pretty much away from the hustle and bustle of Texas suburbia. No pets or bikes please.

If you're coming at the end of the day, we suggest arriving by 3:30 to ensure you get everything in before the last tram leaves @ 4:00. No one will be admitted to the ranch after 4:00pm.
