Our weekly Green Roundup will let you know about deals going on at businesses in our green business directory (check it out if you haven't already). We'll also be detailing volunteer opportunities with local non-profits. It's one more way we're hoping to support and shine a light on the work of sustainable entrpreneurs and green businesses in the DFW area. This week -

If you've got some time to give, and especially if you love cycling, Bike Friendly Oak Cliff is hosting the first annual Cyclovia de Dallas and is in need of volunteers. If you're not familiar with the work of the bike friendly groups (Bike Friendly Oak Cliff, Bike Friendly Dallas, etc.), they've done a lot to help Dallas to become a more bicycle friendly and sustainable city, fighting for bike lanes and more in the past few years. You can read our interview with them to learn more and see our event listing for details on how you can sign up to help out.

On the local green business front, keep an eye out this weekend as the Zombie's Vegan Foodtruck makes its Dallas debut this Saturday, March 24th from 2-7pm on Sylvan Avenue. The food has gotten good reviews, it's a local sustainable business, and you can support the food truck movement in Dallas, an effort that will hopefully be part of creating a more sustainable city-scape! What more need one ask for? You can find all the details here in our green posting. Finally the folks over at D Magazine's Side Dish have gotten ahold of the Farmer's Market Cooking Class for Spring 2012. Details at Side Dish.
