Our weekly Green Roundup will let you know about deals going on at businesses in our green business directory (check it out if you haven't already). We'll also be detailing volunteer opportunities with local non-profits. It's one more way we're hoping to support and shine a light on the work of sustainable entrpreneurs and green businesses in the DFW area. This week -

Green Living. a great shop located in Dallas's Design District. They're offering 20% off in-store organic gardening products through Sunday, April 22nd. We know it's that time of the year where people are thinking about their gardens blooming in the spring and surviving in the summer. So while you're contemplating what organic gardening products you're going to get at Green Living, be sure to check out the feature we published earlier this week with composting tips to help you integrate it into your organic gardening plan. In addition to deals like the one at Green Living these techniques can help you save money as well as take care of the Earth.

Green Source DFW and the Memnosyne Foundation will have a booth at this weekend's Earth Day Dallas at Fair Park. Should be a great event (one of the biggest in the country.) There'll be over 300 vendors (here's a sampling). Our booths will have the house that Harvey Lacey buillt, a home built out of recycled materials that has passed sophisticated Earthquake and Hurricane tests, as well as an opportunity for you to enter to win sustainable art pieces from Stephen Hartzler and Mistura Designs, great local green companies that we've profiled here.
