This week, Dallas Vegan Drinks is holding their monthly mixer for the vegetarian friendly. The group meets every 2nd Thursday of the month for an evening of drinks and discussions about everything vegan in the Dallas Ft. Worth area.Tonight's meeting will be held at the Libertine on Greenville Avenue in Dallas, a locale known locally for a great seasonal menu of libations and eats. See the website of Dallas Vegan Drinks for more.

Meanwhile, at Zola's everyday vintage in the Bishop Arts district of Dallashas put up a rack of items priced at one dollar each. That's one dollar items in a vintage/resale store nominated in our green business awards and voted by Departures magazine as one of the world's top vintage stores. Perhaps worth checking out? Zola's describes the items as "cool stuff that could be used for pin up, burlesque or just for creative dressing of any kind".

Given how warm this year is slated to be (last year was the warmest year on record in the US), gardening season is closer than you might think. Plano community gardeners will be sharing their experiences tonight, from 7-8pm at the Davis library 7501 Independence Parkway in Plano. See our full listing for more info.

Finally, Green Source DFW's sponsored meetup group, Green Dallas Ft. Worth (join to RSVP and have your first round on us), is holding its first event of the new year. Our winter mixer will be next Thursday, January 17th at the People's Last Stand at Mockingbird Station in Dallas. We've had twenty RSVP's so far and are looking forward to seeing all you greenies out there get together to talk about what you're doing to help make Dallas more green. This will be the first of many as Green Source DFW continues in its mission to help make Dallas's environmental community stronger. Click for more details.
