Our weekly Green Roundup will let you know about deals going on at businesses in our green business directory (check it out if you haven't already). We'll also be detailing volunteer opportunities with local non-profits. It's one more way we're hoping to support and shine a light on the work of sustainable entrpreneurs and green businesses in the DFW area. This week -

The Boomer Green Corps at Senior Source is seeking volunteers between the ages of 48-66 to serve as Art Docent & Monitor at the Learn2LiveGreen event in Plano on April 14, from 9:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and 1:00 – 4:30 p.m. Some paperwork and training required if you're interested.

Volunteers would engage viewers in conversations about the works of art and monitor the gallery to provide security for the art and displays. They would also encourage the public to vote for their favorite piece. 3 volunteers are needed for each shift: 9:30 – 1:00 and 1:00 – 4:30pm and lunch will be provided.
