Oak Cliff Earth Day, originally to be held in April, will not go on as planned.

“We hope we can just postpone, but depending on what the City decides on extending the ban, we may not be able to,” said Oak Cliff Earth Day chair Lybo Buchanan in a letter to supporters. “Various news sources indicate that the country is expected to be shut down a couple of months at least.”

Organizers will notify vendors and sponsors with updates. Contact Lybo Buchanan at lybolynn@gmail.com with questions.

In the meantime, look for special Earth Day features mid-April here on GreenSourceDFW.org and on OakCliffEarthDay.com to help you celebrate the 50th anniversary of Earth Day!
