DFW has been celebrating Earth Day all month long. This weekend boasts the grand finale with Texas’ biggest eco-fest, Earth Day Texas, April 26-27 at Fair Park in Dallas.

The eco expo, formerly known as Earth Day Dallas, has grown along with its name, with more than 800 exhibitors filling the indoor and outdoor exhibit space, along with speakers, a film fest and entertainment.

Organizers say they are expecting 60,000 visitors to the fourth annual free family event.

To stay up-to-date on the festival, new this year is the Earth Day Texas App, which features the 2014 schedule, map and exhibitor guide along with statewide environmental information.

Below are some festival stops to take in. Be sure to save room in your schedule for Prairie Fest in Fort Worth on Saturday too – the wildflowers are ready for their closeup.
