Hear Rita Beving, the North Texas Outreach Coordinator for the Clean Water Fund, discuss the framework for DFW water planning and the decision makers who influence water policy, and where we are with water planning for the region. The presentation will then pivot into addressing the highest usage of water, both inside and outside the home, and address how you can save water and save money at your own home. Rita will also discuss what water conservation programs Fort Worth has currently implemented. She will also talk about legislation that affects landscaping in our neighborhoods and a new tax-free water appliance holiday that was passed last session. Rita is a tireless activist and a long-time member of the Dallas Sierra Club.
