This is our first official full-scale prairie assessment project! This will tie together the previous workshop & field training.

The Dixon Water Foundation owns & manages numerous ranches in Texas. They are dedicated to promoting healthy watersheds through sustainable land management to ensure that future generations have the water resources they need. The 1,900 acre Leo Ranch, located in the Fort Worth Prairie ecosystem in Cooke County, just acquired additional acres (bringing the Leo Ranch total acreage to over 5,000) and they have invited the NPAT Prairie Seekers team to conduct a prairie assessment.

Before heading out into the field to conduct an official assessment, the Ranch Manager will provide an overview. We will review the datasheet & protocols before we begin assessing & mapping assigned sections of the ranch.

RSVP for this exciting opportunity to explore a +5,000 acre ranch on the high prairie of Cooke County!
