Fort Worth Nature Center & Refuge presents: Snake Awareness

Learn more about our slithery snake neighbors with a naturalist from the Fort Worth Nature Center. Snakes come in a variety of colors and sizes and they all play an important role in keeping the ecosystem healthy. Some of them even help to protect humans from disease. By learning a few basic safety tips we can keep ourselves safe while living side by side with these expert pest exterminators. You will also have a chance to see a couple of different species up close and make an animal themed craft to take home.

PARKING: There is a lot for the park located on the corner of Amador Dr. and Hillwood Parkway. Parking is also available across the street at the Hillwood Commons building
