Brookhaven College is celebrating National Moth Week with a special Windmill Garden event! Learn how native plant gardens attract pollinators. Special guest Sam Kieschnick, urban biologist with Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, will follow with a discussion about moths their varieties and how to document them.
It’s recommended bring water, insect repellant and a flashlight. Wear closed-toed shoes, long sleeves and pants to avoid mosquito bites. Children ages 8 and older are welcome. We will meet at the Windmill Garden on the west side of campus, just west of parking lot P5.
Free.
